I have done well in school, but it has not been easy, so I am very good at simplifying topics and using comparisons and other ways of explaining to help eliminate confusion. I am patient as I understand that learning is not an instantaneous activity and some topics, especially in math and science, can take a little time to fully understand, I have experienced this myself. willing to try different ways of approaching a topic if one approach to understanding if there is a style that a student prefers or succeeds best with.
