Ever since I took my first Anatomy class in high school I have been fascinated with the functions and structure of the human body. It is because of this fascination and my desire to share my passion for science that I decided I wanted to become a high school teacher. I wanted to challenge young minds and share with them the wonder I see in science and math. I began my career as a substitute teacher, and while working as a substitute, I learned what it takes it be a great teacher: meticulously planning, careful execution, a sensitivity to each student's individual needs and goals, endless patience, and focused attention. I strive to bring each of these methods to every interaction I have with my students.After high school, I attended both the University of Missouri-Columbia and Missouri Baptist University. I tutor students in such subjects as Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, Algebra I and II, Math, and Science. My hobby is soccer, another passion in my life. Particularly, I love to coach high school soccer.I look forward to working with all prospective students. I feel that there is no higher calling than being a teacher.
